The Crow’s Feet Removal Guide
How to reduce the lines around your eyes and get rid of puffy bags and black circles while you’re at it!

Crow's Feet
Puffy, tired-looking eyes with those frustrating wrinkles that make you look like you’re squinting or agitated even when you’re not…. The most dramatic tell-tale signs of aging happen around our eyes, and they can start to become evident from a very early age.
In fact, “crow’s feet” – those wrinkles that appear at the corners of our eyes and look like a crow has stamped his foot there, permanently! – are typically the first wrinkles to appear on a man or woman’s face, usually even before the age of 30.
They are the first indication of the inescapable downward slide of the firmness of youth and effortless beauty. And they only get worse over time.
After the crow’s feet come the bags under the eyes, the droopy eyelids, and the general puffiness that makes you look like you’ve just woken up from a too-short sleep – at any time of day. The under-eye circles darken. The wrinkles deepen and spread and are joined by new neighbours in your forehead and around your nose and mouth.
Okay, okay… so we all age. Does it have to be such a negative thing?
While many of us would rather “age gracefully” than do anything drastic like having invasive, expensive surgeries, we still want to look (and feel!) our best as we continue to get older. A fresh, revitalized version of our best selves; confident, relaxed, beautiful… but not “overdone.”
There are many anti-aging strategies out there these days, many of which are more hype than help; others are excessively expensive and difficult – and often require constant follow-ups. There’s a reason those Hollywood ladies look so young well into their forties and fifties: they PAY for it, constantly!
But what about the rest of us, those who don’t have oxygen-injecting skin-plumping specialists on our daily staff list, like Madonna?
For the rest of us, we need to stick to the tried-and-true techniques for reducing crow’s feet (and their ensuing friends) quickly and effectively. Here’s how:
Crow’s Feet Trick #1: Stay Out of the Sun!
You’ve heard it before, but now is the time to listen. Sun damage is the main culprit in creating, deepening, and extending the lines of your crow’s feet. The thin skin surrounding our eyes is particularly susceptible to sun damage and the harsh effects of UV rays and free radicals on our sensitive skin. And what do your eyes do to protect themselves on a sunny day? Squint. And cause more wrinkles. Staying out of the sun will help keep your skin young and smooth – and it’s never too early or too late to learn this lesson.
Crow’s Feet Trick #2: Stop Smoking!
Cigarette smoke contains a number of harsh, toxic substances that are not only carcinogenic; they also damage our skin. Smokers are also more prone to squinting due to the smoke rising near to their eyes; this adds to the damage caused by cigarette smoking. Butt out for good and you’ll notice a drastic improvement in the overall health of your skin (and your health!).
Crow’s Feet Trick #3: Drink Water!
You’ve heard this before too, but do you do it? This is your reminder: Drink PLENTY of water every day. It will not only keep your body healthy and your digestive, adrenal, and respiratory systems functioning properly; it will also contribute to plump, moist, supple skin – at any age. Think about it: how much time and money do you spend slathering yourself with moisturizers? You need to moisturize from the inside out, too, and the simple, cost-effective way to do this is to drink your water. All day. Every day.
Crow’s Feet Trick #4: Freeze, Crow!
One way to deal with your crow’s feet that is highly effective is to have Botox injections. You’ve likely heard about this increasingly popular practice of injecting a form of botulism into wrinkled areas to freeze the tissues surrounding the afflicted areas and lessen the effects of expression wrinkles. Because crow’s feet are also known as “laugh lines” or “smile lines,” it’s easy to see why a relaxation of the surrounding muscle and tissue would help reduce the appearance of crow’s feet. Yet, when you lose your smile lines, you lose some of your ability to show expression. The unfortunate “frozen face” by-product of Botox injections applies most pointedly to the eyes and forehead. Be careful about how you approach the freezing of your expressive eyes. Looking young is one thing; looking vacant or expressionless is another!
Crow’s Feet Trick #4: Eat This, Crow!
Another way to deal with your crow’s feet is to literally fill them up. Dermal filler products abound and there is no shortage of aestheticians or cosmetic doctors to fill your face with Juvederm or Restylane, or any other filler product. These substances are injected into your wrinkles to literally fill them up and make your face appear fuller and your skin tighter. Be cautioned, though: your face can begin to look a little “over-inflated” with filler products. Injections are expensive and must be repeated at least annually. As with Botox, your ability to show facial expression may be limited.
Crow’s Feet Trick #5: Crow Be Gone!
One of the best ways to eliminate crow’s feet is to use an expensive anti-aging eye cream that contains amino acids, antioxidants, and collagen-boosting properties. These creams are expensive because they contain ingredients that a typical drugstore product will not. Many women shy away from the high price of those tiny vials of eye cream – and for good reason. It’s a tough choice to make when the marketers tell you that you need a high-priced anti-aging cream for your face and neck, PLUS a special formula for your eyes, PLUS whatever else you decide to do as part of your skin-care regimen.
A better alternative is to use a formula like Kollagen Intensiv, which is designed to be an effective anti-aging skincare solution for your entire face – including your eyes – so you can get all the results you need from one product. Plus, since it’s available online, you won’t pay the high retailer mark-up for this product. Where those tiny vials of eye-only potions can run into the hundreds of dollars, you can get a substantial jar of Kollagen Intensiv for around $60 – and it will actually stimulate the growth of new collagen to give your skin the elasticity and firmness of your youth. And no more crow’s feet!
